The Left Coast Chamber Ensemble closes its 2007-2008 15th Anniversary Season with their concert, Quartet for the End of Time highlighted by a composition from the visionary composer Oliver Messiaen, inspired by the Book of Revelations. Completing the program is the world premiere of celebrated composer Laurie San Martin’s new work Objet Trouvés for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, and a lyrical miniature by Elliott Carter in celebration of his 100th birthday.
