Come and celebrate the cd release of 'Selected Shorts,' perhaps the best Dan Hicks & The Hot Licks album since his renowned 1970s work. Hicks, the influential and off-beat, bohemian presence who draws from diverse fields of music, wrote 10 of the 13 songs on the album, which features guest appearances by Willie Nelson, Jimmy Buffett, Beach Boys collaborator Van Dyke Parks, and Butthole Surfers frontman Gibby Haynes. 'Selected Shorts' showcases Hicks Joining him this evening is Special Guest - Kitty Margolis.
