142’ Throckmorton Theatre's popular youth programs provide first-class performing arts and musical instruction and real world performance opportunities to Bay Area young people, ages 5 to 20. Our professional- quality musical theatre productions immerse young actors and musicians in intensive and collaborative performing arts training and experience. Our advanced teen musicianship program includes an A Cappella Ensemble, Throckapella, and an Instrumental Fellowship whose members perform the accompaniment for all youth theatre productions.

142 Throckmorton Theatre must raise a third of its operating expenses every year through donor support. We are grateful to the many volunteers, donors and attendees whose participation in Raise the Youth provides critical targeted support for these youth programs.
