Left Coast Chamber Ensemble

Founded in 1992, Left Coast Chamber Ensemble communicates with audiences through inspiring performances of new and old chamber music. The ensemble’s twelve musicians perform in different combinations, using strings, winds, guitar and piano to present a wide range of repertoire.

Playwrights' Lab

The Playwrights' Lab is the new-plays-development arm of 142 Throckmorton Theatre and includes a dozen Bay Area playwrights who meet regularly to discuss and critique one another's work.

DjangoFest

DjangoFest is a four-day festival celebrating the music and spirit of the great French/Belgian Gypsy guitarist, Django Reinhardt. The event includes a series of concerts, workshops and impromptu djam sessions featuring top internationally renowned players mixing it up with local stars and aficionados of the genre.

Fine Arts Gallery

Each month, the Throckmorton Theatre features original works of art in its Gallery Space. Exhibitions are hung for one month and some of the shows may include more than one artist; opening receptions are held on the First Tuesday of the month.

Mill Valley Film Festival

Founded in 1978 by CFI director Mark Fishkin, the Mill Valley Film Festival has established an impressive track record for launching new films and filmmakers, and earned a reputation as a filmmakers’ festival by offering a prestigious, noncompetitive environment for celebrating the best in independent and world cinema. Born at the Throckmorton Theatre, its films continue to be showcased there.
