May 29, 2024: Patrick Galvin Solo Violin

Patrick Galvin is a San Francisco-based violinist who appears regularly across the United States and abroad. His 2023 performances included selections from his album of solo violin repertoire, entitled Violin Alone, and an Australian tour of his show, Romance to Ruin, with pianist Jennifer Hou. In 2024, Patrick will record his second album, Dear Camilla, a duo program that commemorates the legendary violinist Camilla Wicks, Patrick’s former teacher. Aside from performing, Patrick enjoys teaching, both at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and the Coleman Violin Studio in Seattle, WA.

June 12, 2024: Florestan Trio

 The FLORESTAN TRIO, now in its 48th season, whose members have performed in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Russia,  is very happy to be returning to 142 Throckmorton, one of their favorite venues. Violinist and cellist are both long time faculty members of Portland State University, and the pianist,  who splits her time between Portland and Mill Valley, has taught at Portland State, U.C. Berkeley and Dominican University.

All conerts are free to the pubic, we welcome everyone through our doors. , Join us to celebrate the transcendent power of live music.

CURATOR We have had the good fortune to have Beni Shinoharas our Noon Concerts Curator over the last 9 years. She is a highly respected Bay Area musician who is in demand for her talent and dedication. She has made our Noon Concerts one of the area’s sought-after engagements for many performers and we are thrilled to have her curating our Season once again.
